Now Available

Hello!

So happy to be on my friend Stacey Kennedy’s blog today.

Do you know why I love romance books? I love them because each book is familiar. I am a sucker for the classic romance tropes, best friend’s little sister is my favorite. Even though I know the story will end with a happily ever after, it’s the unique characters, motivations and the emotional journey that make each book original.

My latest release is the final book in the Madewood Brothers series, Recipe for Temptation. It’s a sexy friends-to-lovers vacation fling.

To celebrate my release, I am giving away 3 copies of the first book in the series, Recipe for Satisfaction, in pdf format.  All you have to do is comment below and tell me why you love reading romance. Winners will be picked Friday, August, 21st.

About Recipe for Temptation:

RfT_mockup

A sexy category romance from Entangled’s Brazen imprint…

She’s the woman he loves to hate.

Penn Foster wants a lot of things. She wants a spot on the board of a charitable foundation. She wants to win the stupid, plastic family trophy. And more than anything, she wants her tall, hot, and brooding boss naked in her bed. Now, on a Hawaiian vacation with her family, she’s desperately trying not to think about how he’d sound whispering dirty things in her ear.

He’s the man she can’t have…or can she?

Cole Murphy keeps himself locked down, away from the press and out of the spotlight. Still haunted by a traumatic childhood, his ability to trust has been decimated. Penn, with her sexy body and confidence, is the only person able to drag him out of his shell. Which is why he crashes her vacation and accepts her proposition for no-strings sex. But is the inescapable heat building between them a delicious temptation, or will it end in total disaster?

The reason I love romance is that, it takes me into another world where I can get away from reality. After a long day at work and things weren’t going your way, you just want to grab a book and become the heroine in the book you are reading. That is what I do. I like to think of myself as that character and have the story come to life while I am reading it. To be loved by that gorgeous hunk of a man and not think about anything else but him. That is why I love romance. I want to become that girl who always gets her romance and man at the same time. Cause sometimes, life doesn’t always play out the way you want to then in a book where everything seems to go right or wrong. Either way, I love getting myself lost in a romance every single night.

I love romance because I love happily ever after stories. 🙂 The world is so depressing that I need to have this escape where everything works out and everyone is happy.

  3. Ashley says

I love romance because it’s beautiful, passionate and hopeful. It gives you hope that there’s that special someone out there for you that completes it. It also like reading the build up and emotions that come with romantic relationships. We all want that fairy tale love and in romance novels we can get it 🙂

  4. amy garrett says

i love reading romance because i would be divorced if it didnt exist. my husband doesnt have the word romance in hisvocabulary and i get downright miserable and depresed at times. at least i can read about it!

  5. Tammy V. says

I love romance books because my husband works away from home 3 weeks a month, and when I read them it makes me not miss him so much! They fill the void that is left while he’s not here!

  7. Latochia Bell says

I love reading romance because no two books are the same and they take me to a different world! I get to escape from the daily issues of kids, work, stress, and just think or all the HEA that comes to be. I have found my HEA but it is always good to see it in other ways!

  8. Michelle says

I read romance because it is a great escape from reality. I enjoy all the different stories and actually getting to communicate with the authors.

  9. Shonda Faye says

I like reading romances because it gives you something to look forward to. In this cruel world you can pick up a book and read about how the guy is in denial of his feelings but he let her slip away or the girl has been hurt for so long its hard to let a guy in.

As great as reading any story, I love reading romance storyies because it gives me ideas of things I can try out on my husband. Or ideas that I can give my husband to try on me.
Also I love being taken out of reality for a bit snd stories do that for me.

  13. Allison Culver says

I love romance!! The story. The passion. The being swept away from all my troubles. Romance allows me to escape from the stress of the day, delve into characters lives, and to yearn, dream, and hope with them as they go through their troubles. Plus romance writers create the steamiest sex scenes. 🙂

  14. Jamie Kong says

I love reading romance novels! I read to live vicariously through the characters since I know that will never be how my life will turn out! LOL I love the feeling of being weak knee and gut retching as I read the story and feel what the character is feeling. It’s like I’m being transported into their body and feel everything they feel. I think I’m just an incurable romantic at heart!

  15. Linda Brennan says

I love reading romance because I could travel and explore places I have never and probably won’t be able to visit and to take a journey with the two main characters to discover that there is a HEA ending for everybody.

  24. Jenny Dauksa Schaber says

I love reading romance as an escape. I get to be transported to places I wish I could visit with people who would be the ideal friends and even a soul mate or two. The love is true and all problems are able to be handled with the couples coming out better and stronger on the other side.

  25. Laura Lovejoy Brunk says

Why do i love reading romance? The obvious it’s a glorious escape from reality. But it also gives me hope. Hope that Mr Right exists, Mr “I Cant Live Without You Hot Guy” really wants me…warts and all. And that true undeniable passion exists .

  26. June M. says

I guess the biggest reasons why I love reading romances are that you can escape into a different world, with two (or more) people who fall in love, their lives change while you get to be a part of it, and they almost always end in a HEA or at least HFN ending. In romance, I can find different books to fit whatever mood I am in, whether it is paranormal (shifter, vampire, demon), historical, Sci-Fi (aliens, cyborg), MC bikers, BDSM, MM, MF, MMF, etc.
