Happy Six Sentence Sunday! This week I’m sharing a snippet from Demonically Tempted (Tess & Kipp Book Two). The story is off to a beta reader and then I’m going to get down to my first round of revisions. In this scene, Tess is getting the help she needs to understand her ability to see and talk with ghosts. But it’s too bad she never asked for the help or wants it…and neither does Kipp!

“I can see their auras,” Dane replied. “If you opened yourself up to it so could you.”

“I’m getting really irritated how you continue to insinuate that I’m somehow stupid because I don’t know these things,” I retorted. “I haven’t met anyone to teach me, so cut me a damn break.”

“Yes,” Kipp all but growled. “Fuck off.”
