Giving a book a title is a difficult thing to do. Sometimes I know right away what a book will be called and other times it takes a little longer to figure it out.
I knew about halfway into writing Tess & Kipp’s second book that the title Demonically Shadowed wasn’t going to work for the story. It’s a strange feeling, but it’s one that can’t be ignored. When a title doesn’t feel right it’s one of those things that eats at you. At least, it does me.
For the past two weeks, I’ve been brainstorming titles for the book, but nothing fit. Of course, all I had to do was have a conversation with my critique partner and she offered up a few choices that got me thinking. One of her suggestions just fit and that irritating itch to find a title for this book stopped being so irrriating.
Without further ado, here is the new title that I’ve decided on for the next book in the Frostbite series.
Frostbite Book Two
I’m happy with it and hope you all like it too. Of course, this is a tentative title and needs to be approved by my publisher, but it’s my hope that they love it as much as I do!
