In the coming week, I’ll be revealing the cover of Take Me, the 5th Phoenix book. This story features Ronan (who was mentioned in Save Me) and Nessa (Lottie’s best friend). You’ll meet both in See Me, which releases in a couple weeks. So, here’s the thing, when the cover is revealed, you’re going to see a release day of May, 2023. Please don’t worry—I’ll most certainly release Take Me way before spring of next year, but I wanted to give myself a breather.⁠

Behind the scenes, I’ve been writing books for Harlequin. YES! – my books will finally be available in bookstores in paperback. It’s so, so cool, and I’m ridiculously excited. ⁠

By the end of this year, I’ll have written three new books for Harlequin, but because of production times, they don’t release for about a year after I deliver the book to my editor. While the first book in the Devil’s Bluffs series, Most Eligible Cowboy is set to release November 29, 2022, the two other releases won’t come out until 2023.⁠

With that said, I don’t want to put pressure on myself by setting too many deadlines onto my shoulders. Typically, I write four books a year. I really wanted to write the Undead Ever After series because I LOVE paranormal romance and wanted to write something for fun and that was just good for my heart, but because I took on that series as well as Phoenix, it meant I was slated to write six books this year.⁠

It quickly became apparent that while I wish I was an author that can push out 6-10 books a year, I’m just not. My writing time was interfering with my family time – and my family time is so precious and important to me. So, yeah, something had to give.⁠
⁠
What this means going forward is, I still plan to release many more Undead Ever After and Phoenix books alongside my Harlequin releases, but they won’t have set release dates. While they will have a long pre-order for anyone who loves to pre-order so they don’t forget about a book (I do this too!), these books will have a live release. Basically this means, the second I have the final book in my hands, you’ll get in yours too!⁠
