Happy Friday! Thought it was fitting to end release week with the fire that is Jessica and Marcus!! ❤️‍🔥 Have an amazing weekend, friends.

“I would prefer if you use my number sparingly.”
Both brows rose. “Oh, and why is that?”
“You’re a Winters, and right now, I’m working for the Del Rio family. I am loyal to them.”
The side of his mouth curved. “You’re pulling out the feud card even when you’re not part of either family?”
“Yes,” she countered adamantly. “Whether you like it or not, there is a feud between your families, and I am firmly on their side.”
He paused for a long moment, his eyes searching hers, when suddenly, he took the last step to erase the distance. His body this close to hers, the air feeling charged between them. “I bet I could bring you over to the dark side.”
Her core heated and she felt the warmth creep along her cheeks. She should step away, but she also figured this was some power play where he was trying to win.
Refusing to let him, and holding her ground, she took the final step between them, their bodies nearly touching, the energy sizzling in the small space that separated them. “Should I expect to receive the new design ideas?” she asked with a purr.
His gaze roamed over her lips and then met her eyes again, his pupils dilated with dark desire. “Should I text you with any changes once I’ve given your menu a thorough review?”
She narrowed her eyes and restrained her curses.
Two could play at this game, and while she was the one to turn away, she also brushed herself against him, feeling every single bit of hardness. His low quiet groan was her sweet reward.
