Happy Six Sentence Sunday! It feels like forever since I’ve joined in on the fun, but I’m back! This week I’m sharing a snippet from a story I just wrapped up, THE CAT’S MEOW, which should release end of July/early August! Kale might be a tough warlock, but Libby is a kick-ass witch!!

“Get this straight, warlock, I work alone. Get in my way and I’ll hex you.”

He didn’t seem at all fazed by my poking and merely watched my finger jab his completely hard, deliciously squared chest. Since my action seemed to unsettle me more than him, I withdrew my finger and clenched my fist to avoid a repeat, since I had an itch to feel those muscles again.

His head slowly lifted, gaze darkened. “Warning noted.”
