Glancing up into her heated stare, he grinned at the way she nibbled her bottom lip. That mouth suddenly becoming his whole focus, the music and cheering behind him dulling as he sprinkled the salt along her thigh. He reached for the lemon and brushed it across her lips. “Open up, darlin’,” he murmured.
Her sexy smile nearly undid him as she parted
her lips, and he placed the lemon inside her mouth. “Suck on that,” he told her.
“Is that an order cowboy?” she asked playfully. “Yes, ma’am, it is.”
Her soft laugh brushed over him before her nose
scrunched at the sour taste.
His slid his finger against her bottom lip and she
opened enough for him to take out the lemon. Not waiting, he leaned down again and licked the salt gingerly off her leg feeling each and every shiver. When he reached her skirt, he rose and slid a hand across her cheek until he fisted his fingers into her hair, knowing how much she liked that.
With her lips parted, awaiting him, he threw back the shot, swallowing the bitter alcohol. Feeling her melt into his touch, he tightened his fingers, and then sealed his mouth across hers, tasting the lemon off her tongue, and devouring the rich moan she gave.
The kiss turned hot fast. Too fast.
She clung to him, moving closer, wanting so much more. He was inclined to give it to her, until he heard the clapping and roaring bringing him back into the present. He broke away chuckling, finding her lips swollen from his kiss.
Though instead of blushing, Nora wrapped her arms around his neck, drawing him closer. “Don’t stop now cowboy. Let me taste that again.”
So, he let her.
Again. And again. And again.

His heated stare slowly raked over Nora before he met her gaze again, the sides of his mouth curving. He finally rose, every powerful step toward her seemingly removing the air around her. By the time he reached her, his gaze was on fire. When he stopped in front of her, he cupped her face, and she could barely breath. “Trying to kill me tonight?” he asked, dead serious.
She laughed. “What?”
“Looking like that.” He dropped his chin, his heated gaze falling to her cleavage. “Is a sure way to kill me.”
“Nah, it wouldn’t benefit me to kill you just yet,” she said. “I’m not quite done with you.” She reached up, kissed him like she meant it and heard Beau groan behind her when she headed for the door.
She looked back. “Coming?”
“I want to be.” He grunted, begrudgingly following her out of the door.
